Apple has been recently facing a lot of backlash for all its users. The reason why most people use Apple mobile phones is that of its security. Apple is known in the market for keeping the data of their users very much secure.

Recently, a bug from Apple surfaced which showed that people were able to head the conversation of the people they are calling even when they have not received it. This bug has caused huge concern in the market because this bug has made the data of the users very much vulnerable.

Apple has come out and agreed that it was their fault that there such a bug occurred in the FaceTime application. Since the bug has come to the limelight, Apple has decided that they will suspend the FaceTime conference chat. It is expected that Apple will come up with an update by next week.

This bug of Apple was caught by a 14-year old boy and the company has credited the boy for helping Apple out in the long run. Apple is now working day and night to fix the issue of FaceTime group call.

According to the official statement by Apple:

 “We are sorry for the inconvenience which he has made for the people. We are happy that the 14-year old boy was able to figure the bug out for us. We have fixed the Group FaceTime security bug on Apple’s server and we will issue a software update to re-enable the feature for next week. We thank the Thompson family for reporting the bug. We sincerely apologize to our customers who were affected and all who were concerned about this security issue. We appreciate everyone’s patience as we complete this process. We want to assure our customers that as soon as our engineering team became aware of the details necessary to reproduce the bug, they quickly disabled Group FaceTime and began work on the fix. We are committed to improving the process by which we receive and escalate these reports, in order to get them to the right people as fast as possible.”
