Android, developed by Google, is widely used by a user base, and many companies create dedicated skins to create an immersive user experience with their phones. These user interfaces receive tweaks, new icons, a distinct offering, and, most importantly, a distinction from other Android-creating companies.
Here is the list of different UI created by different companies to enhance their user experience and distinguish them from others:
Samsung OneUI 5.1
Samsung has recently unveiled the new user interface with the Samsung Galaxy S23 series at the Unpacked 2023 event. The new UI is based on Android 13 and offers new widgets, improved camera features, multitasking capabilities, and more. Samsung has been rolling out the new update in a phased manner and select phones already have it.
Xiaomi’s MIUI 14
All Mi, Redmi, and Poco users will be able to use the MIUI 14 based on the latest Android 13. The Chinese tech giant appears to have drawn inspiration from Apple’s iOS to develop the latest MIUI, but the experience of using applications and widgets appears to be excellent.
Oppo ColorOS 13
Oppo, a well-known Chinese smartphone maker, also offers ColorOS, an Android-based custom user interface that gives Oppo users access to faster multitasking, transitions, and even streaming. Additionally, it offers various gaming themes and modes with this.
Vivo FunTouchOS 13
Every customer of iQOO and Vivo gets a FunTouchOS. The most recent update to FunTouchOS, which is based on Android 13, is called the 13th version and includes a number of features like streaming, gaming, customization, app pinning, and transparency.
OnePlus OxygenOS 13
Yet another popular OS developed by OnePlus for its users. The OxygenOS 13 is currently the latest version and is completely bloat-free and comes with a clean Android. It is believed to be one of the smoothest and most bug-free operating systems.
Realme UI 4
Yet another popular operating system developed by China-based Realme for the Narzo and Realme phones. However, both the ColorOS 13 and Realme UI4 seem to be similar and come with bloatware.
