According to the job listing, Google is now looking for a Vice President of Hardware Engineering for Wearable. In the description of the job listing, it was written:
“As the Vice President of Hardware Engineering for Wearable, you’ll work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership team for Google Hardware and will be responsible for the design, development, and shipment of all Google’s Wearable products. You will lead and enable the effectiveness of a large engineering organization primarily based in Mountain View to develop multiple next-generation wearable products simultaneously.”
Google has been working on the Pixel Buds now and there has not been any kind of concrete information from the company about the wireless headphones. This job listing proves that not only Google is looking for a Vice President to work on Pixel Buds but for also working on the Pixel Watch which will be working with the Android Wear technology.
There has been another job listing from Google where they are looking for a Wearable Design Manager and in that the description was vague. In the description, it was written:
“As the Design Manager of the Wearable design team within the award-winning Google Hardware Design organization, you will be critical leader and contributor to guide the efforts in defending and evolving what it means to hold Google in your hand.”
It has been made official that Google has purchased some undisclosed wearable technology from the leading watchmaker Fossil in the month of January 2019, making it clear that they are working on a smartwatch.
